Athletic Works Shoes

As I get older, I’ve had more trouble with my feet, arches and heels in particular. I’ve spent as much as $140 on tennis shoes covering the usual accepted brands Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Skechers. They are good for about 3 weeks to help the foot pain, but I usually end up putting an extra insole or other support after that time. So I decided to try something cheap to see if there was a difference for me. I bought a pair of “Athletic Works” tennis shoes at Wal-Mart.

They were about $21, so I figure if I don’t like them, no big deal. I do like the way they look which helps. They have good grips and treads on the bottom and seem to have lots of support. They don’t have the cushioning on the sides I’m used to with the more expensive brands. I’ve been wearing them now for about five weeks now mainly for walking. I haven’t started having any difficulties with them yet or had to ad inserts for support. I will continue to see how they do, but so far for the price; I’m happy with my purchase.

Stacy’s Pita Chips

Post by: Dee on December 7th, 2007 | File Under Uncategorized

0g trans fat and 0mg Cholesterol , $2.00 for a 6oz bag of “Stacy’s Cinnamon Sugar” pita chips.

They are baked. I was looking for something that was lower in calories and fat that chips, but that texture. I thought they were good, husband didn’t like them, but it could’ve been more because it was a sweet snack.
